RentalSystems holds your money until after your booking is complete in their client account in order to provide you with this extra protection. RentalSystems was purchased by Daily Mail & General Trust PLC in August 2006 for the group’s travel subsidiary Teletext Ltd.
Their guarantee states:
“In the unlikely event that on arrival your accommodation is not available or materially different from that displayed on the website, we will re-imburse you in full on behalf of The Property Manager providing the following conditions are met:
- You do not stay at the accommodation or any alternative accommodation offered by The Property Manager.
- You contact us within 48 hours.
- You provide us with invoices for alternative accommodation within 7 days of the end of the booking period.
- You have not already been refunded by the property manager or reached agreement on a refund.”
