The villa is ideally positioned for visits to the superb golf courses around Lake Garda (Palazzo Arzaga & Spa, Garda Golf, Bogliaco Golf), designer shops (nearby Salò and Desenzano and even a day trip to Milan by train), some superb restaurants, beaches and, for children, Gardaland and several other theme parts to rival Orlando are only a 30-40 minute drive away. Opera lovers will enjoy a trip to the nearby Arena di Verona.

The villa has four bedrooms: three double bedrooms and one family room with a double bed and bunk beds. There are also two travel cots for babies. The villa has a total of 4 bathrooms: 2 with bath and shower (one of which is en suite), 1 en suite shower room and 1 separate shower room. The bathroom has a hydrotherapy bath and waterjet shower.

The kitchen is top of the range, with its own terrace and lake view, and a spaciou s and stylish living room with views of Lake Garda to the south/east and the rear garden to the north/west, and a huge wall-mounted plasma television screen. The villa has air-conditioning and underfloor heating.

The pool is completely private, with a sunbathing area and terrace.

This two-bedroom, lakefront apartment is in the heart of Salò, in the famous Piazza Al Duomo in a lakeside building seconds walk from the water, ferry, restaurants, designer boutiques and bars.

The apartment is a spacious two bedroom, with two bathrooms, spacious living area and kitchen/dining area with open fireplace, partial lake views and wonderful views of the historic Duomo (cathedral).

The property is situated in the very heart of the historic centre of Salò, in a 14th century, totally renovated building with elevator, seconds walk from the ferry, where you can hop on and enjoy the breeze and views across the lake as you visit other lakeside towns of Lake Garda.

Everything – shops, bars, restaurats – are within easy walking distance. This is the ideal town apartment for two couples, or a family with children or teenagers who want to enjoy the beautiful, historic lakeside town of Salò, and hop on ferries to explore other towns and beaches of Lake Garda.

The building has two front doors: one on the lakeside promenade and the other directly on to the cathedral square.

About Salò

Salò is a gorgeous town, lively year round as it doesn’t depend entirely on tourism but has its own thriving economy. The feel is very sophisticated with pretty street cafes, lakeside bars and some fantastic restaurants.

There is a beach where you can sunbathe and swim on the other side of the bay, about a 5-10 minute walk along the promenade of the town.

About The Apartment

Il Brolo is a superb holiday apartment for rent on Lake Garda on the western shore in the heart of Salò.

The privately owned rental apartment has three bedrooms and is very spacious, providing very comfortable self-catering accommodation on Lake Garda for up to six people plus baby.

The lake and town of Salò, with its charming street cafes, designer stores and restaurants, is only 200-300 metres away. Gardaland and other theme parks are 30 minutes drive, the opera house at the Arena di Verona is 40 minutes away, and the designer shops of Milan are just 1 1/4 hours away by train or 1 1/2 hours away by car.

This apartment has three private balconies with plenty of room for open-air dining. Two of them overlook the large floodlit swimming pool, with view of the mountains beyond.

The living room seats up to six people very comfortably and the entire apartment has been furnished in a modern, sophisticated style. This is not your average holiday apartment – more an upmarket town property that would be more than suitable for permanent living. Large glass doors open out onto the terrace, which has a view of the swimming pool.

The kitchen is separate from the living area and has a modern, Italian design and is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, breakfast bar, fan oven, hob and microwave – everything you need to prepare your own meals. There is an additional, separate laundry room with washing machine and wc.

The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a chest and wardrobe, and private balcony.

The third bedroom has twin beds and is ideal as a children’s bedroom, although adults will be comfortable in here too.

About Residence Bellavista

Residence Bellavista is a beautifully constructed new holiday and residential complex near the lovely lakeside town of Salò, Lake Garda, Italy.

The residence has a swimming pool and breathtaking lake views from the pool area, private balcony of the apartment, and walkways around the complex. Seconds walk (approximately 50 yards) from the main entrance is a fabulous restaurant, which is open all year round.

About The Apartment

Apartment 12 is on the first floor of the three-storey building, and can potentially sleep up to 8 people, although we prefer to let to parties of a maximum of 6. On the first floor it has a spacious double bedroom, shower room and and living room/kitchen with double sofa bed, which opens out onto a large covered terrace. Upstairs on the second floor there is another double bed as well as two additional single camp beds. Leading off this upstairs bedroom is a bathroom and shower room.

The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything you need a holiday that is truly a home from home. The kitchen has a new, modern Italian design and is fully equipped with everything you need to make your own meals, including a microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The terrace provides ample dining space for 6 people, and there is also space to relax with a book while enjoying the stunning views of Lake Garda.

There are only 14 units in the entire complex, and all apartments are privately owned. The swimming pool is open from May to October each year. Please check with us for precise dates, as the opening and closing dates may vary according to the weather and the decisions of the complex’s administrator.

The restaurant close to the complex is called “Canneto” and offers some wonderful genuine Italian fresh pasta and fish dishes. It has a lovely open terrace with the same spectacular views of Lake Garda. Corrado, the proprietor, speaks some English and has an English menu available.

About The Apartment

Borgo Alto, Serniga, is a spacious and well-equipped two bedroom apartment in a converted convent in the hills above Salò, Lake Garda. Located in the beautifully unspoilt hamlet of Serniga, the complex has stunning views of Lake Garda and a shared swimming pool, open during the summer months, from May 20th until 30th September.

The apartment is on the top (second) floor, and has a living room/kitchen/diner, 2 double bedrooms, and shower room. There is a lake view from the living room windows, which are the original oval shape of the convent before the building was restored. The apartment has been beautifully finished, with good quality fixtures and fittings.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge and plenty of cupboard space, and the dining table seats four people very comfortably.

The swimming pool is well-maintained and has space for sunbathing, with small communal garden.

There is private parking (gated) and a separate private storage area on the ground floor to keep sun loungers, pool toys etc in.

The town of Salò is a 10 – 15 minute drive down the hill. You definitely need a car for this property, although there is a public bus service that passes by the property as well. The village of San Michele is about 1km away. San Michele has a grocery store, and a few restaurants. The surrounding area is part of the “green belt” of the Parco Alto Garda Bresciana, and is totally unspoilt.

About Il Palazzo

Il Palazzo is a spectacular 17th century building offering a truly unique slice of Italian history. The main house was originally a mansion inhabited by the aristocracy. Later it was used as a convent, then the local town hall before being converted to residential apartments approximately 30 years ago.

The complex has gardens, a swimming pool (open from 15 May to 30 September each year) and beautiful 180 degree views of Lake Garda itself.

The property is set high in the hills, about 3 or 4 km drive up from the town of Villanuova sul Clisi and about a 7km drive to the lakeside town of Salò on the western shore of Lake Garda. The swimming pool is shared by a total of 19 apartments, but the complex is generally very quiet, with most of the other owners being Italian and visiting only on weekends and during the month of August. Rarely is the whole complex occupied at the same time.

Ideal for walkers and hikers (there are many walking trails in the woods behind the building), or those simply wanting to experience a genuine slice of Italian history while relaxing in the sun. Il Palazzo has plenty of atmosphere and character.

The nearest restaurant is a trattoria 400 m away, but it is a steep walk back up to the apartments. You definitely need to bring or hire a car.

About the apartment

The living room is very spacious, with plenty of light and two of the five balconies leading off it. There is a 6 seater corner sofa, a television and DVD player with surround sound, and UK satellite freeview television channels. Just off the living area is the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen is a modern, minimalist design with blank granite worktop, dishwasher, oven and microwave; in the laundry room, just off the living room, there is a washing machine. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom, and there is no need for air conditioning thanks to the apartment’s thick stone walls, which keep it cool in summer and warm in winter (although there is full central heating for winter lets).

There are two bedrooms and one shower room. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, wardrobe, a dressing area and private balcony with lake view. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, wardrobe and side table.

The showerroom has a sink unit, wc, and large walk-in shower tiled in Botticino marble mosaic.

Villa Marianna is a converted farmhouse on the edge of the pretty lakeside town of Salò, on the western shore of Lake Garda.

A short walk across the road and down some steps takes you into the heart of Salò, one of the lake’s prettiest and least “touristy” towns.

This apartment has a small private patio looking out onto the shared courtyard and small rear garden. The swimming pool and sunbathing area is lovely, with mountain views behind and lake views to the front. The apartment is the perfect way to enjoy town and lakeside life with a relaxing pool and sunbathing holiday.

The living room has an incorporated kitchen and dining area, though in summer you will probably enjoy dining outside on the patio. The living area seats 2-4 people. The indoor dining table seats six, and there are two large sliding glass doors that open out on to the patio.

The kitchen is incorporated in the living room, and has a modern, Italian design, and comes fully fitted with cooking facilities and plenty of cupboard space.

The main bedroom has a double bed, and is furnished simply and comfortably with bedside tables and lamps, and ample wardrobe space.
