Two bedroom, two shower room town apartment in the heart of Salò, seconds walk from the lakefront and its restaurants, shops, bars and ferry.
This Lake Garda rental apartment is set in a historical building near the lakefront and only 20 paces from the ferry stop in Salò, Lake Garda.
The location is wonderful, with everything – shops, bars, restaurants, beach – within easy walking distance.
The apartment is on the second floor, but there is a lift in the building too.
The apartment has one double and one twin bedroom, a living room and kitchen with basic cooking facilities, and two shower rooms. There is a television, DVD player and freeview satellite in the living room. The rental apartment is perfect for two couples travelling together or a family with older children who do not want to hire or bring a car.
There is no parking with the property, but there is a secure car park a 5 – 10 minute walk away if you do decide to hire a car.

A very well appointed apartment in an excellent position in central Salo. A very good base for exploring Lake Garda. Parking is not straightforward, but there is a free car park 10 minutes walk away.
Comfortable flat with good amenities in a lovely Garda town. Easy to get around without public transport. Highly recommended.
Your apartment was simply great – ideal for two couples – everything you could think of was supplied by you.
Salo was our favourite town on the Lake – and we visited a few – Limone, Malcesine, Gardone, Sirmione, Desenzano all by ferry and at least had one meal in each as we spent some time there. I can’t recommend a trip to Verona enough, it’s a beautiful city and easy to get to – bus to Desenzano and train to Verona really great.
Salo itself was great – no cars and lovely lake front where you can walk around with ease. Great restaurants and lovely people.
In other words we all had a fantastic holiday.
I would recommend your apartment in Salo to anyone, and in fact we have do so.
The best town on the lake. We required an apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the apartment met this expectation to the letter. The other facilities in the apartment were good to excellent particularly the skyHD set up which kept us in touch with news back home. The location and setting of the apartment, meant little effort was needed to enjoy the entire vista of Salo, and the proximity to the ferry terminal made visiting other towns very easy indeed. The food and other refreshments availabale in the area were by far the best in any town or city we have visited. The city of Verona was reached in 1 hour approx by bus and train, and is a must visit attraction for this area, as if the lake and all the towns were not enough. Booking was easy and the payment system faultless. Sarah was most helpful on several occasions.
Lovely apartment, highly recommended. The internal pictures are accurate, its hard to get an external shot so something nearby has been substituted. Parking is either expensive or some way away but well worth the walk along the lakeside. Park near the swimming pool – especially on a Friday night, Saturday is market day so most of the large free car park is reserved Salo is lovely, a good size with many good places to eat – try tre Papillon. Pity the exchange rate is so poor otherwise we would come back every year. Try it – you will love it!
